Hola! My name is Arturo Bibiano I was born in Mexico but raised from a young age in The Napa Valley. I attended and graduated New Technology High school in 2006 and shortly after joined the Marine Corps. After 6 years of service and a combat deployment to Iraq in 2009 I came home to Napa and quickly submersed myself in wine industry also attending Napa Valley College pursuing a Business Marketing Degree following my Honorable Discharge.
My mother Maria who is the chef behind the grill making these delicious pupusas has been making them for over 6 years now. She learned from a friend who is originally from El Salvador and throughout the years she has been perfecting the recipe and adding a twist of Mexican inspired spice and flavor.
Platanito Pupusas which started with my mother’s dream to make pupusas for everyone to enjoy is now a family run business looking to take on the responsibility of up holding the Farm to Table concept and exceptional customer service.
Present day we are showcasing our business at Farmers Markets in the Napa Valley and through our catering services which we do year 'round.
